Hunt Group / Call Hunting

This feature redistributes phone calls placed from a specific telephone number to a group of receiving lines and uses an algorithm to select which of the several phone lines will receive the caller.

Once the program selects the receiver, the call is redirected there. If that line is busy, the call is then transferred to the following available line in the hunt group. The caller will get a busy signal when none of the lines are open.

This feature allows multiline business telephone systems to redirect clients throughout your group of available representatives until the call connects to an open line in one of the departments.
